Interested in spending 6 weeks this summer in Japan?

If so, do you fit the following eligibility criteria:
  • Eligibility: The program is open to advanced undergraduate (3rd to 4th year) and master’s course students majoring in earth sciences, physics, chemistry, materials sciences, or related fields, who have a strong interest in a career pursuing scientific research. Students from either within or outside Japan, regardless of nationality, are eligible to apply. Communication skills in English are required.

  • Date and Period: July 1 (Thursday) – August 11 (Wednesday), 2010
  • Number of participants: About 10
  • Financial support: Travel expenses and daily living expenses will be fully covered, and accommodation in the Misasa guesthouse will be provided.
  • All application materials must be received by May 9, 2010 (12 pm, JST) to be considered. The application should be prepared using the application form.
