EG-EDU: Logo competition

We would like to announce a competition for the design of a logo for the EgyptEducation.Org web site. The winner will get his or her design used on this site and a small gift of 50 LE.

The format of the logo should be either jpg or gif.
The size should not be greater than 10KB.
The orange color is to be one of the main colors of the logo.
It may or may not include the name "EgyptEducation.Org"
Deadline for submission of the designs: Saturday April 15th.
Submit your work through the upload feature on the main page.
The work should be completely original. No stolen logos will be considered.
The copyright of all submitted logos will belong to EgyptEducation.Org.

The winner will be announced by Saturday April 22nd inshaa-Allah.

i would like to say that this is a very good idea to let those who use the site make their own logo,but i would like to ask a couple of questions.

1-what if i don't know how 2 make a logo as jpg or gif.?what shall i do?

2-why the orange color must b one of the main colors in the logo?

Dear Nora,

1. It is easy to save your design to jpg or gif format. It's normally under "save as" or "export" on the "File" menu. Check the help of whatever drawing software you're using.

2. Orange is kind of the official color of moodle, the system that we're using. So just to keep some sort of a link, we'd like to have orange as one of the main colors for the logo for EgyptEducation.

I would like to thank all those who have submitted their designs for the logo competition. I think we have about 10 logos so far.

There are still a couple of days left before we start the evaluation process. If you have some artistic talents, then we need you. Please consider submitting your logo in the competition.

We will show all the logo entries on the EgyptEducation.Org site to give a chance for all of you to share your opinion.
